Virginia Beach Fishing Report, rockfish/stripers virginia beach

We have had a few striper trips this week and the rockfish are snapping. The rockfish in Va. Beach are big this time of year. We are catching them on light tackle and it is a blast with stripers up to 40 pounds. For those who want to tangle with some real studs, the black drum and red drum are chewing good. The black drum are running up to 80 pounds. It is a great time of year for inshore and the offshore fishing is heating up. The tuna fishing is looking good for this year. So far this is one of th eearliest bluefin bites we have seen. Best, Mike
