Virginia Beach Fishing Report, bluefish/rockfish 5/12/09

We started off trolling for bluefish and there were plenty to be had. They were small but enough to keep us busy. We decided to go striper fishing after that and moved up to the Chesapeake bay for a shot at the rockfish. We caught 2 stripers right off the bat, but the tide stopped and so did the fishing. If you dedicate the whole trip to them, then I think you could catch them good. Also, the Black drum and Red Drum keep on coming. The flounder should also start up again soon. We are going tuna fishing on Saturday.
